Bring the highly acclaimed LiVe—This Is Your Life! production to your school in 2009. It's a research proven, thought-provoking, rib-tickling funny theater show geared to helping kids in grades 6th–9th take charge of growing up healthy and fit.
The program is free and has been expanded to grades 6th–9th. The 2008 School Assemblies season is completed, and we presented 75 plays at schools all across Utah and in southern Idaho. We will be presenting the play LiVe—This Is Your Life! again during 2009 and 2010!

LiVe—This Is Your Life! was created by Barbara Storper, MS, RD, executive director of FoodPlay Productions. FoodPlay Productions is an Emmy Award winning organization which produces nationally touring theater shows. The school assemblies include follow-up materials for your students to help support long-term messages.
What you'll receive.
As part of the LiVe—This Is Your Life! program, your school will receive a live theater assembly show (45 minutes) for your students in grades 6th–9th. We recommend between 100 and 400 students per audience. Students from other grades (ages 11-15) may be added if the 100 minimum is not reached with with 6th–9th graders. Smaller schools may also combine with other nearby schools at a single location.
In addition to the assembly, your school will receive a comprehensive set of follow-up materials for students, teachers, parents, and health staff, to help extend the nutrition and health messages throughout the year. Each school will receive a LiVe—This Is Your Life! School Resource Kit providing fun, hands-on lesson plans and reproducible activity sheets to follow up on the enthusiasm generated by the show.
LiVe—This Is Your Life! is brought to you by SelectHealth and Intermountain Healthcare. Together, SelectHealth and Intermountain are committed to providing this preventative health education program to the communities they serve. The LiVe campaign's goal is to change attitudes of adolescents ages 11-15, by making it “cool” to be more active, watch less TV, shorten video game play and make healthier food choices.
